During her sit down on Wednesday with Kara Swisher and Walt Mossberg at the 2017 Code Conference, Hillary Clinton fixed her lips to say that she believes one of the reasons she lost the presidential election to Donald Trump was because so many folks thought she was going to win.

Clinton said to folks, “I also think I was the victim of a very broad assumption I was going to win.”

In other words, folks didn’t get up to go vote for Clinton because they believed folks were getting up to go vote for her.

Mm-hmm.
